ntndOS / Chatrooms

Give the conversation
a place in the company.

ntnd is designed for human–AI collaboration. In Chatrooms, each person joins from their own ntndOS instance to work with other people in a shared room. Bring in a named AI agent for a specific piece of work when the room needs one.

Built with Matrix

Matrix provides the communication foundation. ntndOS adds the company layer: rooms, roles, context and deliberate agent participation.

A conversation with boundaries

Not another place
for messages to disappear.

A useful company conversation carries more than words. It needs a clear membership, a way to establish trust, and a deliberate answer to whether an agent may take part.

01

People belong
in the room.

Invite the colleagues needed for the work. Room membership is visible and does not silently open the rest of the company.

02

Know who is
asking.

Matrix verification checks a device. A private passport lets an agent’s company review a person’s standing and how long it lasts. Neither grants agent access on its own.

03

An agent joins
by decision.

The agent’s owner reviews the exact person, room and agent before allowing a reply. Room membership and a passport are not blanket permission.

The room journey

Conversation, with the company still in view.

Follow a room from its first purpose through a private passport and a separate agent-access decision. The screens use invented sample content to illustrate the alpha experience; this webpage is not a live chat service.

An open communication foundation

Matrix carries the conversation.
ntndOS carries the company.

Matrix gives Chatrooms an open communications foundation for rooms, encrypted messages and identity verification. ntndOS adds the company-specific layer around it: clear room membership, deliberate agent participation and distinct access to company context.

Where it starts to matter

A conversation that
can move work forward.

Chatrooms give a piece of work more than another stream of messages: a place for the people, question and, when appropriate, agent support to come together.

A live question

Bring the right people into the same thread.

Start a room around a customer question, a launch decision or a piece of operating work—then keep the discussion easier to return to.

A careful handoff

Let an agent help without making it invisible.

Turn a request in the room into a specific question for an agent, with the opportunity to inspect what participation would mean.

Meet the agents ↗︎
A decision

Keep conversation and authority distinct.

The room can carry the discussion. A permission remains a separate, reviewable answer to whether an action may proceed.
