ntndOS app privacy notice

Operated by ntnd.ai. Privacy questions: use our contact form.
This notice explains the main privacy considerations when testing ntndOS. The privacy information supplied with each release will identify the data handling and controls of the specific build.
Your workspace
ntndOS is designed as a local-first workspace for agents, company knowledge and workflows. Local storage does not mean that every feature works offline or that we hold a backup of your files. Keep your own backups and start with sample or non-sensitive material.
You retain control of the accounts, files and services you connect. Only use other people's information where you are authorised to do so.
When information can leave your device
Cloud models. Using a cloud model can send prompts and relevant context to the selected provider. Its data practices and settings apply to those requests. Running a model locally does not make unrelated integrations local-only.
Tools and integrations. Connected services receive information needed for the actions you authorise. Review permissions before connecting an account.
Chatrooms. In end-to-end encrypted rooms, messages and attachments are encrypted for the participating devices. Operating the chat server alone does not give ntnd.ai the keys to read their contents. The service still handles account, room-membership and connection information needed to deliver chat.
People who join a room can read the messages and attachments available to them under its history and encryption settings. They may keep or share copies. Inviting someone to a room does not by itself give them access to your whole workspace or Company Brain.
If you authorise an agent to process a conversation, it can read the permitted content. A cloud model may receive that content if cloud processing is enabled for the task. Encryption does not prevent an authorised recipient, agent or connected integration from processing what it can read.
Access and updates. Licensing and update services may process identifiers, software version, platform and connection information. The release-specific privacy information describes the requests made by your build and any optional diagnostics.
Support. Messages, screenshots and logs you send us leave your device through the chosen support channel. Redact credentials and private content. Do not send a complete workspace unless we have specifically agreed a suitable way to handle it.
Information we handle
We use access and support information to administer the test, respond to problems and protect the service. Your release-specific privacy information explains what your build sends, who receives it, why it is processed and how long it is kept. Optional consent is separate from accepting the software terms.
The signup notice's 18-month application limit applies to the waiting list, not automatically to every app record. Uninstalling ntndOS may leave local files; deleting an access request does not necessarily remove copies held by connected services or other chat participants.
Your choices and rights
Use our contact form to ask about information we hold. Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw optional consent.
Where GDPR applies, we respond within one month and explain any permitted extension. You may complain directly to a competent data-protection authority. If responsibility for the service changes, we will explain the change; existing opt-outs and deletion commitments are not reset.
